Milan\/Palermo, July 16 2018<\/strong> – The fourth event of GIOIN<\/a><\/u><\/em><\/strong> (Gasperini Italian Open Innovation Network) for this year will take place in Palermo, Italian Capital of Culture 2018<\/strong>, on Tuesday, July 24<\/strong> and will address the theme ART, TOURISM AND TECHNOLOGY<\/em> within the splendid setting of Villa Niscemi<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 (Hall of Carriages).<\/p>\n

Art and tourism are among those sectors that, thanks to digital tools, have changed more in recent years. The European Commission \u00e2\u20ac\u201d through the National Operating Plan \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Culture and Development\u00e2\u20ac\u009d 2014-2020 \u00e2\u20ac\u201d awarded approximately EUR 500 million for the protection of cultural heritage and support for creative industries in the regions of Southern Italy, in order to bring Made in Italy and Italian excellences throughout the whole world. But what role does technology play at the service of innovation in this market?<\/em><\/p>\n

GIOIN<\/em>, the first network in Italy dedicated to business innovation through the collaboration with startups, is an initiative by Digital Magics<\/strong> – the most important incubator of digital startups “Made in Italy”, which is active throughout the Italian territory, including a branch office in the Sicilian capital – whose goal is also to disseminate the important opportunities that the ecosystem of Italian startups is able to generate and enhance, by covering all the most interesting issues for entrepreneurs, top managers who want to approach the digital transformation<\/em> and innovation in their companies.<\/p>\n
