Milan, June 23, 2014 <\/strong>– Prestiamoci <\/strong>– the first and only Italian financial startup<\/strong> that runs a web platform for lending between private individuals<\/strong> – is now online with its new website<\/strong>. On www.prestiamoci.it<\/a><\/strong>, people who want to invest money are put in contact with anyone who wants to get a loan, for example to restructure <\/strong>an apartment<\/strong>, buy <\/strong>a car, organize <\/strong>a marriage <\/strong>or pay for <\/strong>an education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The development of Prestiamoci – which has also relaunched its business model – is supported by Digital Magics<\/strong>, an enterprise incubator for start-ups listed on AIM Italy, which is supporting\u00c2\u00a0the founders of the start-up firm in relation to\u00c2\u00a0the\u00c2\u00a0digital technology and strategic aspects.<\/p>\n

Prestiamoci is an innovative\u00c2\u00a0start-up that combines the world of the sharing economy <\/strong>that is\u00c2\u00a0typical of the web with the rules<\/strong> of the<\/strong> banking system<\/strong>. Investing in the profitable personal lending market is no longer the\u00c2\u00a0exclusive domain of the banks, it is becoming accessible to everyone. On the new website www.prestiamoci.it<\/a>, in an easy, fast and transparent way,<\/strong> investors can lend capital to personal borrowers,<\/strong> and likewise those who are in need of a loan can apply for one.<\/p>\n

There are over<\/strong> 450 registered lenders<\/strong> who have invested through Prestiamoci. \u00c2\u00a0360 loans for <\/strong>a total of more than \u00e2\u201a\u00ac1.7 million[i]<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>have been advanced. The average loan<\/strong> is for Euro 5,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Authorized by the Bank of Italy<\/strong>, Prestiamoci uses professionals who are experts in the field and offers selected\u00c2\u00a0loans <\/strong>to lenders – who want to invest capital and earn money -; while it offers loan applicants interest rates that are\u00c2\u00a0lower<\/strong> than the market. The objective is to obtain a yield greater than 6% per annum<\/strong> for all lenders.<\/p>\n

The investment through the Prestiamoci platform can be done\u00c2\u00a0in two ways:<\/p>\n

  1. Manually<\/strong>, the lender will be provided with detailed information<\/strong> (duration, rate, purpose, credit rating, presence of other debts), in order to choose completely independently.<\/li>\n
  2. Fully automatic process, <\/strong>delegating the choice of loans\u00c2\u00a0to the platform in order\u00c2\u00a0to get the desired yield.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Investors with Prestiamoci provide a capital sum <\/strong>that is divided into units. <\/strong>In this way, all lenders diversify their choices, reducing their risk<\/strong> and optimising their investment.
