The initi<\/em>ati<\/em>ve \u00e2\u20ac\u201c established by Digit<\/em>al Magics, 012Factory, TechHub and<\/em> Citt\u00c3\u00a0 della Scienza \u00e2\u20ac\u201c was presented yesterday to an audience of more than 100 entrepreneurs, business angels and investment funds<\/em> at Circolo Canottieri in<\/em> Naples<\/em><\/p>\n

The Club will organize regular meeting between companies, investors and innovative startups \u00c2\u00a0with high growth potential, with the aim of developing the di<\/em>gital economy of the local area<\/em><\/p>\n

Naples, October 17, 2014<\/strong> – Last night, in the beautiful setting of Circolo Canottieri in Naples, the Business Angel Club<\/em><\/strong> (BAC) was officially presented to an audience of more than 100 companies, investors and professionals. The Business Angel Club<\/em> is a network of investors which aims to support startups and innovation in the South of Italy which enables an exchange of expertise and the creation of relationships between local government finance and the digital sector.<\/p>\n

The promoters of this initiative are: Digital Magics<\/strong>, venture incubator<\/em> of innovative startups listed on the AIM market of the Italian Stock Exchange (symbol: DM), 012Factory<\/strong>, a private incubator operating from Caserta supported by Google<\/strong> and Microsoft<\/strong>, Fondazione IDIS \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Citt\u00c3\u00a0 della Scienza<\/strong>, an institution for the development of cultural science and an incubator for startups and innovative spinoff initiatives, and TechHub<\/strong>, realizing the acceleration of Banco di Napoli<\/strong>, Camera di Commercio di Napoli<\/strong> e Universit\u00c3\u00a0 degli Studi di Napoli Federico II<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of BAC<\/em> is to foster relationships between managers, business angels, entrepreneurs in the territory <\/strong>and innovative new businesses<\/strong> with a high growth rate \u00e2\u20ac\u201c to offer high quality technology services \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and as well as to arrange meetings which bring together relevant stakeholders every two months, in all regions of Southern Italy.<\/p>\n

Building on the experience of Digital Magics Angel Network<\/em><\/strong> (a network of over 100 individuals, from the private sector, public institutions, industrial leaders and the financial sector, who cooperated with Digital Magics in the hiring, mentorship and co-investment in digital startups), we wanted to replicate this successful model in the South and create a solid ecosystem of innovation for the development of the territory.<\/p>\n

Digital Magics, 012Factory, Fondazione IDIS \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Citt\u00c3\u00a0 della Scienza and TechHub, thanks to the BAC, <\/em>are building a real hub of connection between investors and local startups to sustain and encourage investment in original projects that contribute to economic growth and employment for young people in the South of Italy. Directly involving major players in the public and private sector in the South, the BAC wants to restore confidence in an area that no longer believes in itself, despite possessing the resources and expertise to innovate.<\/p>\n

At each meeting a number of new digital startups will be presented. The Startups which have participated in the first meeting of BAC<\/em> Naples are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intertwine \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>www.intertwine.it<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Intertwine is a web platform which allows users to create, share and publish collaborate multimedia content. The idea of intertwine is based on: the plotter<\/em>, who creates the plot of the work and makes it available to the wider community who continue to work and the bricker<\/em>, the community that shares the text, audio, video and images i.e. the parts needed to build on the ideas implemented by the plotter. Once the process of creating the brick is finished, the plotter will choose the most suitable and create an Intertbook<\/em>, a multimedia work. The objective is to create new entertainment products that combine the classic features of books, digital communication and social networks.<\/p>\n

Cambiomerci.com \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>cambiomerci.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Cambiomerci.com is a network for trade credit between enterprises: a platform of trade for modern companies that allows them buy and sell services from one another.
