DIGITAL MAGICS PRESENTS 12 STARTUPS OF THE PORTFOLIO AT “LUGANO IR TOP INVESTOR DAY†FOR A TOTAL POST MONEY ASSESSMENT EQUAL TO OVER 61.3 MILLION EUR AND A TURNOVER  OF 14.4 MILLION EUR AT 31.12.2016 (+ 60% COMPARED TO 2015)

Digital Magics, business incubator listed on the AIM Italia market of the Italian Stock Exchange (symbol: DM), announces that during the LUGANO IR TOP INVESTOR DAY, held in Lugano on September 22nd 2017, introducing for the first time the 12 most promising startups in its portfolio, providing a broad description of the main business drivers and the reference market segment.
The startups presented achieved a total turnover of Euro 14.4 million at December 31st, 2016, an increase of 60% compared to 2015 and a total valuation of Euro 61.3 million after the last investment rounds of 17.5 million Euros.
The presented Startups are the following: 4w MarketPlace S.r.l., Almadom.us S.r.l., Buzzoole Holdings Ltd., Epic SIM S.p.A., Leevia S.r.l., Prestiamoci S.p.A., Quomi S.r.l., Sottile (Diet to go) S.r.l., Talent Garden S.p.A., Taskhunters S.r.l., Volumeet S.r.l. e Xoko S.r.l. (Hotelbrand).
At December 31 2016, the 49 operating startups owned by Digital Magics recorded an aggregate turnover of Euro 26.4 million, up 36% on an annual basis.
Scouting and selection activities continued in the first half of 2017; at 30 June 2017 there were 66 operating companies in the portfolio, of which 36 Innovative Startup and 7 Innovative SMEs. In particular, during the first half of 2017, Digital Magics carried out a disinvestment from the company Vin.Ci. (ProfumeriaWeb) and investments in 8 new participations, including the investment in the Withfounders vehicle, which in turn holds 9 active shares, in addition to a portion in a seed capital fund under US law.
