The Mixing Star campaign took the bronze medal at the prestigious 2011 IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) European Awards for the Retail & Trade Marketing category. The competition, which included the best Marketing and Integrated Communications agencies across Europe, recognized the competition’s winners, many of which had already won national awards and had been evaluated online by a jury of 52 industry experts.
The IMC Awards, which were organized by the IMCC (Integrated Marketing Communications Council of Europe), serve to recognize excellence and reward merit in the market of communications agencies, with particular attention being paid to the most innovative techniques, or rather those for which the economic crisis seems to have had positive effects by stimulating creativity and strategies.
The result is one to be proud of: only two Italian campaigns were awarded; in the Retail & Trade category, LX was only preceded by the Dutch agency which, with campaigns for Bavaria and De Bijenkorf, won the largest number of awards as well as the Grand Prix.
