The Italian companies and the ecosystem of digital startups will meet at Parc Hotel Billia, Saint-Vincent Resort & Casino in Saint-Vincent (Aosta) on Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st.

The major networking event will involve key players in the digital sector, institutions, companies, investors, incubators, talents and startuppers that will debate to take stock of the situation, in evolutionary terms, of the entirety of the Italian innovation ecosystem. The focus of the two-day event will be a productive cooperation between traditional companies and digital startups, that creates value and innovates internal processes, business products and services. In addition, the following topics will be addressed: politics, investment and innovation in the public sector; the outsourcing of R&D in large companies; the digital transformation and training in the growth of Italian SMEs and the role of incubators.

The Open Innovation Summit 2017 is the fourth of the 8 dates of GIOIN, the first network for companies that want to innovate thanks to technology provided by startups.

GIOIN – Gasperini Italian Open Innovation Network – is the brainchild of the late Enrico Gasperini, Founder of Digital Magics and recognized as a pioneer and innovator, who passed away prematurely in November 2015. GIOIN, in essence, provides companies with information, training and sharing paths orientated towards accessing support tools and stimuli, aimed at the search for unconventional solutions, critical to addressing the challenge of innovation, improving industrial processes, generating value and creating new products and services through digital innovative startups.
