Milan, September 12th, 2017 – During the Fashion Week, on Monday September 25th the new GIOIN (Gasperini Italian Open Innovation Network) event will be held in Milan, which will address the theme FashionTech: the technology to give more strength to the Made in Italy excellence, inside the Talent Garden Milano Calabiana co-working campus.

GIOIN, the first network dedicated to the Open Innovation of Italian companies thanks to Startups, is an initiative by Digital Magics SpA. – incubator listed on the AIM of the Italian Stock Exchange, and aggregator of the most important Digital Innovation Hub for DIGITAL MADE IN ITALY.

FashionTech startups can represent a turning point in the creation of value for Made in Italy companies in the fields of fashion, luxury,and design; enhancing the strengths of Italian manufacturing. The global game today is played on the intersection between aesthetics, research, development and technology, even in this sector.

Enrico Pagliarini of Radio 24 will moderate the event (24 ORE Group).

From 5:00 PM: seven digital startups will present their innovative solutions, between fashion and technology, to the present entrepreneurs, companies and institutions. Participants: Enrica Arena, Co-Founder Orange Fiber; Marco Tosi, Founder and CEO TrovaModa; Sara Spadafora, GLIX CEO; Paola Parolo, Head of Digital Marketing Velasca; Andrea Carpineti, DIS CEO – Design Italian Shoes; Eugenio Pugliese, CEO Quattrocento Eyewear and Alberto Baggio, Founder and CTO Listupp.

The event on September 25 in Milan is the sixth of 8 appointments of GIOIN for 2017. The seventh meeting will be held in Turin on October 19th, at the new Talent Garden Fondazione Agnelli co-working campus, and will focus on Computer Security.

Thanks to the success and interest shown in 2016 – involving over 1000 entrepreneurs, AD and marketing directors – GIOIN 2017 has added two more dates to the cycle of meetings, and has made agreements with important companies: Intesa Sanpaolo Group, Boraso, Cisco, Ernst & Young, Fastweb, Generali, Oracle and QVC Italy, who are the partners of this year’s edition, along with Talent Garden, DLA Piper and Dol.
