The most important companies – both Italian and international – and the ecosystem of innovation and of startups will meet at the third edition of the Open Innovation Summit, at the Parc Hotel Billia, Saint-Vincent Resort & Casino in Saint-Vincent (Aosta) on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7.

The protagonists of the event organised by Digital Magics, the most important business incubator of digital startups “Made in Italy” active throughout the Italian territory and listed on the AIM Market of the Italian Stock Exchange, will be the leaders of Cisco Italia, City of Milan, Deloitte, Electrolux, Fondazione LINKS, IBM Italy, Innogest, Intesa Sanpaolo, Moleskine, mytaxi, Oracle, Piccola Industria by Confindustria, PoliHub Startup District & Incubator, Sisal, Smau, Talent Garden, Tamburi Investment Partners.

Professor Piero Formica, Senior Research Fellow at the Innovation Value Institute, Maynooth University, Ireland, and winner of the Innovation Luminary Award 2017 – awarded by the European Commission – will address the relationship between Industry 4.0, University and Open Innovation 2.0 in his keynote speech.

The journalist and writer Massimo Gaggi will bring his privileged point of view from the USA, where he’s monitoring politics, economics and social transformations, especially in relation to the technological revolution, and with his book Homo Premium, he will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on society and labour market.

The Open Innovation Summit 2018 will thus involve the key players of digital transformation, digital talents and young entrepreneurs, incubators, investors and businesses that will debate to take stock of the situation, as concerns the development of the whole Italian innovation ecosystem, by further elaborating on the model of Open Innovation (to innovate internal processes, products and services offered by traditional companies thanks to the technology provided by startups), as well as national and international issues such as: Industry and ‘Impresa 4.0’, Training and Digital Skills, Artificial Intelligence, FoodTech.

The Open Innovation Summit 2018 is the event dedicated to the synergies between startups and established companies, part of the third edition of GIOIN, the first network for companies that want to innovate thanks to the technology provided by digital startups.

WHAT IS GIOIN

GIOIN is designed to deepen the opportunities of open innovation of processes, products and services, using technology platforms, through the collaboration with innovative startups.
