DIGITAL MAGICS LAUNCHES ELI WMS: THE ENTIRELY CLOUD-BASED INNOVATIVE SYSTEM FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS WAREHOUSES
Milan, November 29 2018 – Digital Magics, the most important incubator of digital startups “Made in Italy” active throughout Italy, launches ELI WMS: an entirely cloud-based innovative system for the management of business warehouses, capable of tracking and controlling all goods – from the arrival of the container to the delivery to the customer – using only an Internet connection.
Developed by the innovative startup OHC Bene, which enters the portfolio of Digital Magics, ELI WMS (Warehouse Management System) is an independent SaaS solution that simplifies industrial logistics. ELI WMS integrates with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, which operates internationally, to make the transport of materials and products more efficient, thus optimising costs and time.
ELI WMS – www.eliwms.com – allows companies to create and manage warehouses anywhere in the world without having to develop any IT infrastructure, by using scanners for reading barcodes and RFID (electronic labels) and by exploiting the full potential of Google Cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform and Google App Engine), in order to automate and optimise operations.
The ELI WMS system is extremely practical and easy to use, thanks to the intuitive design interface created according to the feedback given by tests with warehouse workers, forklift drivers and field operators. ELI WMS also uses a drone for the automatic inventory of compactable warehouses which, by remaining always connected, scans the RFID tags in order to check the presence of goods on pallets.
ELI WMS was born from the idea of ​​Luigi Wilmo Franceschetti (CEO) and Luisa Franceschetti (Chairman), to which Ignazio Ingenito (CTO) was later added, of developing a solution for the family business, which did not have a management system of the warehouse and had to handle huge quantities of incoming and outgoing goods, with more than 200 40-foot containers. Thanks to ELI WMS, the company reported an increase in transport efficiency and, consequently, an increase in revenues.

Digital Magics has acquired a 15% stake in the startup OHC Bene and is supporting the founders with high-profile incubation services, in order to strengthen the technological development team, and to accelerate and implement the business and strategy for the “go to marketâ€.
