The 6 startups of “Magic Wand Retail Revolution” enter the second phase of the program, which will allow them to validate the innovative business models, by subsequently presenting them on the occasion of the two Investor Days scheduled in Milan and London. The total investment of Digital Magics for the winning startups amounts to 540,000 Euro

Milan, 11 April 2019 – Digital Magics, Auchan Retail Italy, Cisco, Do different, Nava Design, Nexi, RDS 100% GRANDI SUCCESSI, SisalPay and UBI Banca have selected the 6 innovative startups that won “Magic Wand Retail Revolution”: the first accelerator in Italy dedicated to technological innovation in the retail sector.

After completing the first phase with over 300 hours of qualified training and advisory services – reaching interesting growth performances – Dilium, Disignum, Eligo, Impossible Minds, InTribe and Wenda access the second phase of the program, which will allow them to validate the business models developed over the last two months and become part of the Digital Magics portfolio, the most important  incubator of digital startups “Made in Italy” active throughout Italy.

Each of the 6 startups will receive an initial investment of 90,000 Euro and will participate in the two exclusive events, organised in London and Milan, presenting their innovations to important Italian and international investors.

“Magic Wand Retail Revolution” aims to innovate the retail sector, improve customer experience  and create the store of the future, connected and omnichannel.

At the end of the acceleration program, a further round of investment is planned, again with the participation of Digital Magics. Thanks to the collaboration with 200Crowd, an equity crowdfunding platform, investors interested in participating in investment rounds will have the opportunity to invest in all the winning startups through an ad hoc vehicle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF THE 6 WINNING STARTUPS  OF “MAGIC WAND RETAIL REVOLUTION”

Dilium is developing the technological solution ‘Arcadia’. Thanks to Augmented Reality, Arcadia will create interactive paths within the store that will improve Customer Experience and define new points of contact with the customer. VIDEO

Disignum has designed CRM 4Retail, a Cloud platform that analyses and studies customer behavior, thanks to a multi-channel system.

ELIGO is a marketplace that connects elegance lovers and Made in Italy with Sartorialists, Personal Stylists, in order to create garments and accessories, that are tailored and customised. VIDEO

Impossible Minds has developed imFlow, a technological suite designed to create automated vocal conversational interfaces; these interfaces are cross-platform, digital, natural language-based, simple and intuitive. VIDEO

InTribe implements projects of customer insight data intelligence for the purpose of producing advanced analyses on consumers’ needs, lifestyles, habits and evolutions.

Wenda is a platform for real-time verification of the integrity of food and beverage products along the distribution chain, from the manufacturer to the store, thanks to IoT technology.
