4w MarketPlace is now the leader advertising network in Italian digital market. Since 2009, thanks to an exclusivity agreement with the Premium Publisher Network (PPN) Consortium founded by RCS Group and Gruppo Editoriale L’Espresso, the company has affirmed its position in the management of contextual ads of the most prestigious online publications. Over the years 4w has developed a wide network of high quality that today reaches more than 12,000 publishers, and a complete offer both in terms of advertising formats with a full range of spaces ADV, and of ways to buy on direct and programmatic basis.
Important investments have been made for development of technology that is the basis of 4w activity: in 2012 it obtained a loan of EUR 2 million from Principia SGR for this purpose and today offers a proprietary suite integrating the best technologies in the market.
As part of its continued growth, in 2015 it has completed an acquisition of the business unit DADA ProAdv/Simply, going to further strengthen its presence in the market.
