Luca Fabio Giacometti graduated in International Finance at the Università Bocconi. From 1986 to 1991 he worked in the Investment Banking Dept of Citibank Milan and from 1991 to 1996 in BCI Merchant Banking and Private Equity (now Banca Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.). From 1996 to 2002 he was Managing Director of GE Capital Italia (GE Equity). In 2003 he was co-founder and Managing Director of Nutequity, the private equity fund supported by the Ferrero Family. He has been Founder, Chairman and CEO of Made In Italy 1, the first Italian SPAC listed on AIM Italia in 2011, now incorporated into SESA S.p.A., the leading added value IT software and hardware distributor in Italy with sales of over 1 billion Euro, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (ComputerGross and Vargroup are the two main brands), of which he was a member of the Board until September 2015.
Since 2007 he has been responsible for Italy of the Swiss fund of funds Capital Dynamics, that manages 12 billion Euro invested in 800 funds of private equity and venture capital worldwide.
He is an Independent Board Member of Digital Magics and serves on the Board of Directors from November 2012.
